Schools Regional Competitions - 3rd December 2006
With both London and Eastern divisions holding their schools competition on
the same day the club was split in two for the day with the club members
representing:
- Brentwood Prep, Brentwood School, Brentwood County High, Brentwood
Ursuline, Anglo European, Stifford Clays Junior and Deans School in the
Eastern competition.
- Coopers Coborn, James Oglethorpe Primary and Chingford Foundation in the
London competition and
Many of our members were successful either in teams or individually in
qualifying to the Regional Round competitions and, as and when results become
available, more detail will be posted here in due course. For now a summary of
those qualifications known to the webmaster are:
Eastern competition - Lea Valley High School

the Midlands Zone finals in Birmingham on 27th January.London competition
- Ellie Semon (James Oglethorpe) - individual & team winner in under-11
elite
- Gemma Phillips (Coopers Coborn) - individual & team winner in under-17
elite
- Scott Gregory (Chingford Foundation) - individual winner in under-15
elite
- Chris Hawkins (Coopers Coborn) - individual and team winner in under-19
novice
The London qualifiers will be travelling to the Southern Zone finals in Alton,
Hampshire on 20th January.
