Session, membership and insurance charges

Session rates

All session charges are based on a rate of £5.00 for a 90-minute session.  We invoice members quarterly in advance covering 4 quarter 'terms' being September - November, December - February, March - May and June - August.

Membership charge

There is an annual club membership fee due on 1st Sept each year which covers the club affiliation to British Gymnastics and our own club insurance for equipment etc.  The club element of this charge is currently set at £7.50 per annum.

Membership benefits

As well as the membership benefits from British Gymnastics, Brentwood trampoline Club is keen to identify other benefits of belonging to the club - in particular it has identified a number of Shopping opportunities to either help save money for yourself or help to keep costs down for the club (which helps control fees).  Please check out our Shopping area for more details.

British Gymnastics 'insurance' charge

British Gymnastics membership is £23 a year for competitors grade 4 and above and £15.50 for all others, reduced rates apply towards the end of the cover year which is October to September.   British Gymnastics membership provides a number of benefits to members as shown below.

Club membership

Club Membership with British Gymnastics may be regarded as a privilege which gives holders many benefits including a stamp of approval and quality from the sports UK National Government Body.

Club Membership also carries with it the responsibility of ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety and Welfare for members. In order for an application for registration to be successful, the following requirements must be met:

  1. An official representative of the club must sign a Declaration form agreeing that the club will abide by and comply with the Policies, Articles and Rules of British Gymnastics.
  2. All club officials and coaches must hold the relevant individual membership and insurance.
  3. Each club must nominate a Club Secretary, and have a minimum of one coach qualified to British Gymnastics Basic Club Coach or above, in each discipline they propose to teach.
  4. The club must register all its Associate Members of the club who must be named and have addresses supplied and fees paid for the relevant categories of membership.
  5. At the beginning of the club year (currently 1st October) each club renewing will need to forward its members individual registration forms along with payment.
  6. For clubs renewing there is a Club Registration fee based on the members total from the previous year.
  7. For new clubs registering there is an initial registration fee.
  8. Clubs registering members can use the two membership types: Club Associate and Pre School.

Full membership

This level of membership is required for coaches and judges.  Full Members Benefits include:

  • Lapel badge (new members only)
  • Membership Card
  • Entitled to purchase the British Gymnastics Members Handbook (cost £10.00)
  • Six issues of Gymnast Magazine
  • Copy of Annual Report and Accounts
  • Special discount rates
  • Voting rights at the Annual General Meeting
  • Eligibility to take part in British Gymnastics known competitions
  • Entitlement to wear British Gymnastics tie, and blazer badge
  • Civil Liability and Personal Accident Insurance

Associate membership

Club Associate Members (from 5 years and over)
  • Membership pack
  • Personal Accident
  • Membership Badge and Card
  • Entry into British Gymnastics known competitions
Pre School Associate Members
  • Membership pack
  • Pre school members must be aged 5 years and younger for the whole of the Club Year.
